OAU Students Kick As Union President Budgets N.7m For Phone Calls

     Some sudents of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU have expressed displeasure at the the Union, Oyekan Ibukun for budgeting the sum of 0.75 million naira for the purpose of phone calls.

       This came into limelight after a copy of the OAU Students’ union budget proposals was released.
Students of the institution who spoke to our reporter expression dissatisfaction on the development.
        A student who pleaded anonymity said, “Dr IBK (Ibukun) and his executive members would be beaten out of office.

    A female student who also doesn’t want to be named threatened violence over if the budget is passed adding ” how could our union budget over 750,000 for phone calls only.”
    Calls made to the Union President did not connect while a text message sent to his phone went undelivered.
